Robert Paris and his daughter, Meagan Farrell, operate an organic, grazing herd located in Belleville, Wisconsin and have been with our cooperative for many years. Recently, our staff and Board of Directors heard that one of Meagan’s three kids has been battling cancer. Masey, Meagan three-old daughter, was not feeling the best all summer. This fall, a CT scan showed a large tumor on Masey’s right lung with numerous bones in her pelvis, ribs, and spine. The pathology results showed Masey has a very rare cancer of pleuropulmonary blastoma (PPB). This cancer has less than 500 diagnoses in the world.
To show our support for Masey, Rolling Hills has decided to add an honorary pink and purple hat to our clothing order. All the proceeds from these hat sales will go directly to the family for medical expenses. All the hats have the cooperative logo and on the back of the hat has “moose mob” as Masey’s nickname is Moose.
